Experience in development, infrastructure and leadership
I'm Danil Rodin. I have worked in IT since 2015, starting with websites and system administration before moving into product development. At Umbrella IT, I led teams of 3–6 developers, designed architecture and wrote code. At Sababuu, I was responsible for application development and infrastructure.
This background lets me work through a problem as a whole, from user needs to code, databases and servers. I can deliver the work independently or join your team, with a clear scope of responsibility and knowledge transfer.

Dallari and Rent Responsibly — built from scratch
Built and launched a grocery retail marketplace and a platform for US landlord communities. For Dallari, I designed a dedicated service to exchange data with the client's accounting system.
Sababuu — application and infrastructure
Migrated the database from MySQL to PostgreSQL and set up Kubernetes with load-based autoscaling and GitOps releases. Led the move from a WebView-based application to a full React Native app.
Domiland — integrations and file storage
Integrated Ujin for smart home device management. Migrated file storage from local storage on the server to S3 Object Storage.
PKASKO — faster calculations, more integrations
Integrated insurer APIs and developed the administration interface for a car insurance aggregator. Optimised premium calculations, reducing response times by approximately 20–30%.
Bristol — servers and networking in an operating hotel
Upgraded the server from 4 to 20 cores without replacing the entire platform. Mapped the network and replaced core switches in stages, retaining hardware for rollback and documenting the connections.

Maintained servers and networking and joined over 150 computers to the domain. Built an intranet portal with Active Directory sign-in and a shared employee directory.
